Surprised Nezuko in a Checkered Obi Kimono, Demon Slayer Page
Coloring guide
Nezuko Kamado looks caught off guard here, with big wide eyes and three little alert marks floating above her head. She's drawn from a low angle, with long dark hair past her shoulders, a bow tucked in, and her bamboo muzzle in her mouth. The kimono gives small hands plenty to do: a bold black-and-white checkered obi knotted at the front, a skirt with a geometric star pattern, and big loose sleeves that spread out on each side. No background here, so kids can stick with the character. Deep green and black would suit the checkered obi, and soft pink could fill the kimono pattern. It's a free PDF and needs no sign-up. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big dark brown areas: the long haori sleeves and the hair on both sides, leaving the hair highlights white.
- 2Color the bright orange tips at the ends of the hair and the sleeve edges with warm orange.
- 3Fill the kimono skirt and hakama with soft pink, then add the paler pink on the folds and the hem.
- 4Color the skin on the forehead, cheeks and chin with light peach, and fill the eyes with pink, leaving the eye whites bright.
- 5Add the green bamboo gag and the light green patch on the obi, then leave the white checkered obi squares untouched.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker shading along the folds of the skirt and under the sleeves to make the drawing look more dimensional.
