Surprised Round Face With Stars and Sparkle Lines

A big round face shows a surprised look, with wide oval eyes, large black pupils with small white highlights, and two raised curved eyebrows. The small open mouth is an upright oval, and there is an oval blush mark on each cheek. Around the face are four outlined stars, one in each corner, plus short straight lines placed like rays above, below and to both sides. The thick outlines and large open spaces make it easy for young children to color without going outside the lines. Try talking about what might have surprised the face, then pick colors that match the feeling, like warm yellow for the face and soft pink for the cheeks. This free printable also works well for an emotions circle time, where kids make the same surprised expression before they color.
