Tall Flamingo Standing on One Leg Outline

Tall Flamingo Standing on One Leg Outline coloring page

Coloring guide

A single flamingo stands in profile with its long neck curved into a gentle S shape and its head turned toward the left. The beak is large and bent downward, with a small dark oval for the eye above it. The body is a smooth rounded teardrop, with a few feather lines drawn along the wing and tail. Two thin legs run straight down, one slightly behind the other, with a knobby joint partway down and webbed feet with separate toes at the bottom. There is no background, so the whole page is open white space. Kids could color the body in pink and orange shades, then leave the beak pale with a darker tip. The feather lines on the wing are also a good place to practice blending two colors. The free printable works well for a bird unit, since you can point out the bent beak and long legs while little ones color.
