Drawn from down low, this tall soldier looks powerful and a little intimidating. He stands with his legs planted wide and holds a large rifle across his chest with both hands. The Halo-style suit includes a helmet with a reflective visor, chunky shoulder plates, a ribbed torso, thick thigh guards, knee armor and heavy boots. Behind him are blocky city buildings with stepped rooftops, tall windows and antennas, and a square crate-like structure sits just behind his legs. Bold outlines and large open armor panels keep this free printable easy for younger kids, while the small details on the gloves, boots and rifle give older fans something to chew on. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big background areas: fill the city walls, tall buildings and stair blocks with light gray, leaving the sky and the open space around the wind turbine white.
- 2Color the soldier's main armor with leaf green, covering the arms, legs, chest, hips, boots and knee pads, and keep the thin white highlight lines untouched.
- 3Use slate gray and charcoal gray for the dark parts: the rifle, the gloves, the belt, the chest plate and the shaded joints between armor pieces.
- 4Fill the building ledges, the tall window panels and the center square with sky blue and royal blue, using steel blue for a few of the lower ledges.
- 5Color the visor on the helmet with golden yellow, then add the small cool gray edges on the window frames and the rim of the helmet.
- 6Optional: Add a few light strokes of darker shade on one side of each armor piece to give the soldier a bit more depth.
