Tea Party Shoppies Doll with Teapot Hat
Coloring guide
One arm reaches out to the side as if this big-eyed doll is welcoming you to a tea party. She has straight bangs, a short wavy bob and a large scalloped bow on her head, and a small teapot with heart cutouts sits on top like a hat. Big ribbon loops frame both sides of her hair. Her sleeveless dress has ruffled shoulder straps, a heart-patterned skirt and a scalloped hem, with a tied belt at the waist and a tiny charm hanging from it. Chunky shoes come with little bows and heart details. There's no background, so the outfit is easy to focus on. Pastel pink for the bow and skirt and mint green for the teapot would look lovely. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big skin areas: fill the face, neck, arms and both legs with light peach, leaving the eye whites and the small highlight on the arm white.
- 2Color the hair on both sides, the top and the fringe in chocolate brown, and add the tan orange touch on the lower hair tips.
- 3Fill the large bow loops, the bow tails and the bow knot in light pink, then add rose pink to the small inner bow dots and the bow center.
- 4Color the teapot hat in golden yellow with hot pink for the top band and stripes, and leave the little white dots on the hat as white.
- 5Add sky blue to the shoe ankle straps and the shoe tops, golden yellow to the shoes, and rose pink to the dress straps and dress belt; keep the dress skirt border and small dress hearts white.
- 6Optional: Add a little soft blue shading on the apron bag and along the sides of the shoes for extra depth.
