Teddy Bear Ghost Out Trick-or-Treating on Halloween

Standing on a sidewalk is a little bear in a big ghost-sheet costume, holding a jack-o'-lantern treat bucket by its handle with both paws. Its round ears poke out of the top of the sheet, and its wide eyes and smiling face peek out from the front. Furry feet show at the bottom of the costume. A carved pumpkin with a toothy grin and a curly stem sits beside it. On the right, a tall street lamp stands next to a rounded bush, and another bush sits at the left behind the pumpkin. Paving lines run across the ground. Soft lavender or light gray would suit the sheet, with warm orange for both pumpkins and a golden yellow glow inside the lamp. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big background areas: fill the bushes on both sides with forest green and the sidewalk and ground with light gray.
- 2Color the lamp post, its collars and the lantern frame with charcoal gray, then fill the lantern glass with golden yellow and the small bulb with soft cream.
- 3Paint both pumpkins and the trick-or-treat bucket with pumpkin orange, and color the bear's paws, face, and feet with warm brown.
- 4Add baby pink inside the bear's ears, then fill the pumpkin stems and the bear's nose with black. Leave the ghost sheet and the bear's eye whites white.
- 5Fill the pumpkin faces with black, leaving the teeth white, and finish any small details like the lantern edges with charcoal gray.
- 6Optional: add a little extra charcoal gray along the sidewalk and under the bear's feet to make the scene feel like it is on the ground.
