Bear and Bunny Hug in a Friendship Flower Garden
Coloring guide
A smiling bear stands on two feet and wraps both arms around a little bunny in a big, cozy squeeze. The bunny squeezes its eyes shut with a happy grin, its long ears pointing up and one small paw hugging back. The bear has round ears, big shiny eyes, a heart-shaped nose and a fluffy tuft of fur on its head. Three daisy-style flowers with leafy stems and grass tufts fill the ground around their feet. Big shapes and clear outlines keep it simple for young colorers, and the hug is a nice way to get a conversation going about caring for friends. Honey brown for the bear and soft lavender for the bunny will keep them from blending together. Print it at home for a quiet creative break. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Fill the bear's head, body, arms, and feet with warm brown, leaving the bunny's white body untouched.
- 2Color the bear's muzzle and inner ears with light tan, and fill the bunny's inner ear with coral pink.
- 3Add leaf green to the grass leaves on both sides of the flowers.
- 4Fill the flower centers with golden yellow, keeping the petals and the bunny's head and body white.
- 5Leave the bear's eye whites and the background bare, so the page looks bright and clean.
- 6Optional: add a few light strokes of darker brown on the bear's body to give it a fuzzy, textured look.
