The Beast Gazing Into His Hand Mirror

The Beast stands close to the front of the picture, holding an oval hand mirror in his big paws. The back of the mirror shows a fleur-de-lis design with a little band across the middle, and he is tilting it as if looking at something. His face is shaggy and sad, with curved horns, a heavy brow, a wide nose, a bearded chin and a tusk showing over his lip. He wears a high collar and a cloak with a cuffed sleeve. Behind him are paneled walls with curly scroll patterns and a curved arch overhead. This free printable page has plenty of room for coloring. Try deep purples and blues for the cloak, warm browns for the mane, and gold for the mirror's fleur-de-lis so it stands out. Kids can also practice small areas on the scrollwork.
