The Little Mermaid Ariel Relaxing in a Giant Clam Shell
Coloring guide
Here's Ariel settled into a huge open clam shell, leaning on one hand while the other rests on her curved tail. She tilts her head and smiles right at you, and her long wavy hair streams out behind her. She's wearing a seashell-style top, and the fins at the end of her tail fan out in long, flowing lines. The shell has ribbed panels, a scalloped rim, and a cushioned base with little tied bows on each side. That's all that's drawn, so the page stays clean and uncluttered. Younger kids can take on the big shell shapes, and older ones can spend time on the hair and tail fin. A shimmering green tail with a pearly pink and lavender shell looks lovely. The PDF is free, so print it whenever you need a quick coloring break. This fits right in with our The Little Mermaid coloring pages — see also Nella the Princess Knight and Princesses.
