Three round, woolly lambs hop through the air one after another in a sweet bedtime scene. The middle sheep has its eyes shut in a happy smile, the left one looks cheerfully ahead, and the one on the right turns toward us with rosy cheeks. Five stars of different sizes twinkle around them. A wavy hill line crosses the bottom with a few grass tufts, and a little butterfly and bumblebee each fly along a dashed path. Those big fluffy bodies and curly wool tufts are simple to color, so younger kids should do well here. Soft lavender or baby blue wool with bright yellow stars gives a dreamy night look. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Fill the three sheep bodies and their wool tufts with cream, leaving the tiny white highlights untouched.
- 2Color the stars at the top and in the middle with golden yellow.
- 3Fill the sheep faces, ears, and legs with light peach, keeping the eye whites and the small white spots on the muzzles blank.
- 4Color the hooves at the ends of the legs with chocolate brown, and add a little dusty rose to the horns.
- 5Paint the inner ears with coral pink and the bee wings with sky blue.
- 6Optional: Add a soft shadow of light peach under each sheep's belly for a bit of depth.
