Three armored sci-fi soldiers pack this action scene. The biggest one is in the center, jumping through the air in a chunky helmet and layered armor plates, with a long rifle angled out to the left and one gloved hand stretched back behind him. A second soldier crouches on the right, curled forward in similar armor. The third sits low at the bottom left, aiming a smaller gun. Speckled debris or energy streaks across the middle of the page. With no background scenery, the armor is the star, and all the panels, bolts and plates will keep older kids and teens busy with fine-tip markers. Olive green on the big center soldier and deep blue or orange on the other two will help each one stand apart. Print it at home for a classroom project or a weekend craft. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with bright blue on the big armor areas of the top figure: the helmet, shoulders, chest sides, and the raised arm and fist.
- 2Fill the red chest panel and the red visor of the top figure with fire red, leaving the small bright highlights white.
- 3Color the right figure in sage green on the helmet, torso, and legs, then use forest green on the shoulder and hip areas and pale lime green on the lower arm.
- 4Add golden yellow to the top of the rifle and the knee plate of the bottom figure, then golden orange on the small hip piece and tan orange on the waist.
- 5Use light gray and pale silver for the rifle barrel, ground dust, and metal joints, and charcoal or dark gray for the gun stripes, hands, and shadowed details. Keep the eye shines, helmet glints, and background white.
- 6Optional: Add a little extra dark gray along the edges of the blue armor to make the shapes pop.
