Three Hanging Papayas With Jagged Leaves

Coloring guide
Three large papayas hang in a cluster from thin stems, with the biggest one front and center and a smaller fruit on each side. The fruits have smooth, rounded outlines that narrow toward the bottom, and a few short curved lines inside them show their shape. Above them, jagged-edged leaves spread across the top of the page. The stems curve down and meet near the top of the right-hand fruit. The big open spaces make this an easy page for younger kids with chunky crayons. Try coloring the papayas in different stages of ripeness, with one green, one yellow-orange, and one in between, then talk about how fruit changes color as it ripens. This printable page is also a nice fit for a lesson on tropical fruits.
