A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big sky and background greenery: color the bushes and tree leaves in leaf green and light green, and fill the sky areas with sky blue, leaving the top cloud white.
- 2Color the tree trunk brown and the stone path beige, then add the forest green shading on the darker tree areas.
- 3Fill the three large tulips with red and rose pink, and color the small yellow tulip in lemon yellow.
- 4Paint the butterflies: use golden yellow and orange on the wing patches, coral pink and orchid purple on the inner wing areas, and leave the wing outlines and dots white.
- 5Color the bluebells in lavender blue and the leaves and stems in leaf green, keeping the daisy centers and petals white.
- 6Optional: Add a little extra darkness to the leaves and tulip shadows with a deeper green or red to make the picture pop.
