Three happy jellyfish drift through the water here, each with big sparkly eyes and a cheerful open smile. The largest floats at the top with a scalloped bell edge and long wavy tentacles trailing below. A medium one sits on the right and a small one in the lower left, so you get a good mix of big and small areas. Round bubbles of different sizes surround them, and several four-pointed twinkle stars are scattered across the page. The ruffled, curly tentacles are good practice for steady little hands. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the big jellyfish's dome and most of its tentacles in lavender, leaving the thin shine lines on the dome white.
- 2Use violet purple on the outer, darker tentacles of the big jellyfish, and pale lilac on the wavy inner ones.
- 3Fill the right jellyfish's dome with sky blue and its tentacles with pale blue, adding medium blue to the outer tentacles.
- 4Color the small jellyfish's dome and tentacles in coral pink and blush pink, and give its smile a coral pink fill.
- 5Fill the bubbles with sky blue and the sparkle star with golden yellow.
- 6Optional: Add a slightly darker shade along the edges of each dome for a bit of depth, and keep the little highlight lines white.
