Frog Tadpoles Swimming Through Bubbles and Seaweed

Coloring guide
Three round-headed tadpoles with big shiny eyes and happy little smiles swim through the water, each with a long wavy tail trailing behind. They're stacked down the page. The top and bottom tadpoles head from right to left while the middle one glides the other way. Bubbles of different sizes float all around them, and at the bottom, tall wavy seaweed leaves rise from small pebbles on both sides. The open shapes and clean outlines are easy for small hands, so it's a nice fit for preschoolers learning to stay inside the lines. Olive or dark green tadpoles with lighter tails look good, along with pale blue bubbles and bright leafy green seaweed. Print the free PDF at home for an easy afternoon activity. This fits right in with our Frog coloring pages — see also Whale and Cow.
A gentle color plan to get started — mix in your own anytime.
- sky blue
- warm orange
- grass green
- light gray
A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the middle tadpole's body and long tail with sky blue, leaving its eye white and shiny spot untouched.
- 2Fill all the round bubbles scattered around the tadpoles with sky blue.
- 3Color the bottom tadpole's body and tail warm orange, keeping its big eye white.
- 4Fill the tall seaweed stalks and leaves on both sides with grass green.
- 5Color the rocks at the bottom and the small pebbles light gray.
- 6Optional: Add a few light strokes of darker blue or green on the edges to make the colors look more lively. The top tadpole and the background can stay white.
