Garden Lounge Chair Sandwich, Tom and Jerry Style
Coloring guide
On a sunny day in the garden, Tom the cat stands by a cushioned lounge chair in swim trunks, taking a huge bite of a sandwich while a few musical notes drift beside him. Behind him, a small cat in boots tumbles through the air above a gushing water spout, and a coiled garden hose sits on the lawn. Layered cake slices rest on the grass and on a little table, next to a tall drink with a straw. At the foot of the chair you'll find a pair of 3D-style glasses and an open magazine, and a country house, trees and flowers fill the background. The chair cushion is covered in triangles and circles, so bright blues and oranges would look great there, with a splash of aqua for the water. A free printable PDF for a calm, creative break. - warm brown
- golden yellow
- light aqua blue

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big grass areas: color the lawn and the bushes and trees in grass green and lime green, leaving the hose and clouds white.
- 2Fill Tom's body in tangerine orange, including his head, arms, tail, and ears, and color his pants and the chair cushion in sky blue.
- 3Color the yellow house wall in golden yellow and its roof in tomato red, then add the sky blue water spray near the fountain.
- 4Add the cake slices in coral pink and the book cover in warm brown, and color the sunglasses and the cushion dots in dark navy blue and tomato red.
- 5Optional: Keep Tom's eye whites, his white shirt belly, the tail tip highlight, and the clouds untouched so they stay bright.
- 6Finish with small details like the flower stems in forest green, the lemonade glass in sand beige, and the straw in warm brown.
