Trio of Jellyfish Floating Past Seaweed and Bubbles

Three jellyfish in different sizes drift through the water on this page. Each has a round dome, big sparkly eyes, rosy little cheeks and a tiny smile. The largest is at the top left, one sits in the middle on the right, and the smallest floats near the bottom left. Every dome carries a cluster of oval spots on top and curved lines down the sides. Below them, long ruffled tentacles mix with thin curly strands, and a few of those curl into spirals. Small round bubbles float all around, wavy lines hint at water, and tall seaweed leaves grow up from the bottom corners. Younger kids will do well with the big shapes and open spaces, and the ruffled tentacles keep older kids busy. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Fill the top jellyfish bell with light lavender, then add soft purple along its left and right edges.
- 2Paint the middle jellyfish bell sky blue and shade its lower edge with pale blue.
- 3Color the bottom jellyfish bell blush pink, adding a bubblegum pink stripe on its right side.
- 4Color the long wavy tentacles blush pink, adding lilac and orchid purple streaks for variety, and leave the thin curly tips and gaps white.
- 5Color the spots on the top jellyfish golden yellow and apricot, keeping the white rings bright, then fill the seaweed with leaf green and the bubbles with sky blue.
- 6Optional: add a few darker strokes along the bell edges using a deeper shade of the same color for a little depth.
