Tumbling Wolf Surrounded by Pixel Hearts, Minecraft
Coloring guide
Here's a square-bodied wolf caught mid-tumble, viewed from above at a slant, with its blocky head in the lower left. Two small black squares make the eyes and the ears poke out on each side. A long, boxy tail points up toward the top of the page, while the chunky paws sit on the right. Five pixel-style hearts float around the wolf, and some of them have small square cutouts. Large simple shapes and thick outlines keep it easy for younger kids, and older ones can shade the patches on the wolf's back. Soft grays and whites work for the fur, with black eyes and bright red or pink hearts. Good for a quiet afternoon, a Minecraft party table or a classroom reward. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with lime green on the pixel hearts scattered around the page, and on the lower head and paw areas of the wolf.
- 2Fill the large upper block, the top of the head, and the top-left tube with emerald green.
- 3Color the middle panels and the right-side pieces with medium green to build up the wolf's shape.
- 4Use deep green for the dark side panel and the inner strip along the right edge of the body.
- 5Add small sandy tan spots and patches on the upper block and the right side.
- 6Keep the eye whites and small highlight spots white. Optional: add a few darker strokes of the same green for depth.
