Turtle Carrying a Strawberry: Free Reptiles Coloring Page
Coloring guide
A happy turtle strolls across a grassy meadow with a big strawberry balanced on its domed shell. It has round, shiny eyes, a curved smile, and its head turned toward you. The shell is split into hexagon-shaped plates, and the legs and feet have a honeycomb pattern, so little hands get lots of small spaces to fill. Two tall daisies on leafy stems frame the top corners, and another daisy sits in the lower left. Small spotted mushrooms and tufts of grass fill the bottom of the page. The strawberry has tiny seeds and a leafy green top. Red would be an obvious choice for the berry, with soft greens and browns on the shell plates and bright yellow centers on the daisies. Print or download it, and maybe keep a few extra copies on hand. Looking for more? Our Snake and Birds coloring pages pair nicely with this Reptiles page.

- forest green
- lime green
- bright red
- olive green
- light peach
- pale yellow
- grass green
- golden yellow
A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Fill the large shell plates with forest green, carefully staying inside the thin lines so the white borders between plates stay visible.
- 2Color the turtle head and body with lime green, then fill the legs and the bumpy scales on the feet with olive green.
- 3Paint the strawberry bright red and its leaves and top stem with grass green, leaving the tiny seeds white.
- 4Add the flower centers in golden yellow and leave all the petals white. Color the plant leaves grass green.
- 5Fill the belly band with pale yellow, the feet and toes with light peach, and the mushroom caps bright red with light peach stems, leaving the spots white.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker green along the edges of the shell plates for depth.
