Twelve Different Leaf Shapes to Color for Fall

Coloring guide
Twelve outlined leaves are scattered across the page, and no two are alike. At the top you will find a round leaf, a leaf with five long pointed lobes, and a heart-shaped leaf with a short stem. The middle has a spiky holly-style leaf, a long feathery palm frond curving in the center, and a leaf with a toothed edge. Below those are a lobed fig-style leaf, a maple leaf, and a smooth pointed leaf. The bottom row has a branch with narrow leaflets, a split-edged leaf with small holes, and a wavy oak-style leaf. Every leaf has thin center veins and side veins, which makes them easy to shade. Try matching the leaves to real ones from a fall walk, then color each in the reds, oranges, yellows, and browns you actually find. Kids can also sort them by edge type: smooth, toothed, lobed, or wavy.
