Moonlit Fairy Dance with Six Fireflies
Coloring guide
Long wavy hair, a flower crown and a big smile belong to this fairy, who twirls through the woods holding out the sides of her flowing skirt. She has big butterfly-style wings, a flower pinned at her waist and ballet-style slippers topped with little flowers. Six tiny smiling fireflies buzz around her, each leaving a dotted flight trail. A crescent moon hangs between two large tree trunks behind her, and the ground is scattered with leafy bushes, rocks, grass tufts and a few plants in the corners. Kids get big areas to fill in on the skirt and wings, plus small flowers and fireflies for detail practice. Lavender or sky blue on the dress, and bright yellow on the fireflies so they glow against the night forest, would be pretty. This free printable is meant for coloring fans of all ages. - 3Color the wings: sky blue along the outer edges and under the wings, and light pink for the inner panels.
- 4Paint the long hair, the moon and the flowers in the hair with golden yellow, keeping the eye whites bright white.
- 5Color the tree trunks chestnut brown, the leaves and bushes with leaf green and forest green, the rocks light gray, and the grass with lime green.
- 6Optional: add rose pink to the belt flower and shoe flowers, soft orange to the dress hem, and warm amber to the sash bow for a little extra sparkle.
