Two Bunnies Hopping to the Schoolhouse, a Back to School Scene
Coloring guide
Two smiling bunnies hop down a dirt path toward a little schoolhouse, each wearing a backpack and glancing happily at the other. The bunny on the right has a heart on the front flap of its backpack, and the one on the left has a buckle clasp. At the end of the path, the schoolhouse has a bell in its small tower, an arched front door, shuttered windows and a few steps up to the entrance. Round bushes and a leafy tree stand behind it, and tufts of grass and flowers run along both sides of the path. Small hands will like the large shapes, while older kids can spend time on the grass and petals. Soft pink for the heart backpack and bright yellow for the bell are good starting points. Print it free for a classroom project or a weekend craft. Love this Back to School coloring page? You might also enjoy our New Year and Teacher Appreciation Day coloring pages.

- 2Fill the schoolhouse walls and window frames with soft yellow, the roof and porch roof with tomato red, and the door, door step and bell tower with chocolate brown.
- 3Color the round tree crown and bushes with grass green, then add leaf green to the bottom grass and the flower stems.
- 4Paint the left backpack bright blue and the right backpack tomato red, then add warm gray to the buckles, straps and the dirt path.
- 5Add coral pink to the inner ears, foot pads and the heart on the right backpack, and fill the bottom flowers with cream and the bell and the right flowers with golden yellow, leaving the bell shine white.
- 6Optional: add a little light sky blue to the window panes, and keep the bell shine and small highlights white for a sparkly finish.
