Here are two girls squeezing each other in a happy hug, both smiling. The smaller one on the left has two puffy pigtails tied with star-shaped hair ties. The taller girl on the right wears a very long high ponytail with a heart-shaped clip. Each has a puffy-sleeved outfit with a scalloped, petal-style skirt, and each kicks one foot up playfully. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the skin: color both girls' faces, arms, hands and legs with peach skin, leaving the eye whites and mouths unfilled for now.
- 2Color the left girl's hair, pigtail and bun golden yellow, and the right girl's ponytail and hair chestnut brown.
- 3Fill the left girl's dress and boots with bubblegum pink and blush pink, and the right girl's dress and boots with lavender purple and pale lavender, alternating shades on the skirt petals.
- 4Color the big heart at the top bubblegum pink and the sparkles bright yellow, then add the hair bows and small hearts in soft pink.
- 5Add the star on the left girl's skirt in golden yellow and the stars on the boots in golden yellow, and tint the skirt tie in deep rose.
- 6Optional: Leave the eye whites, boot cuffs and background white for a sparkly, clean look, and add a little extra shading with a darker shade of each color.
