Two Godzilla Monsters Nose to Nose by a Waterfall

In this free printable, two scaly dinosaur-like monsters meet nose to nose in a lush prehistoric valley. The one on the left is a Godzilla-style creature with a bumpy, textured hide, a row of back spikes and clawed hands, and it looks up with an open, toothy grin. The one on the right is much bigger, with large rounded scales, pointed head spikes and a gentle smile, and it leans in to meet the other's gaze. A smoking volcano sits behind them next to jagged mountains, and a waterfall spills into a winding river. There are puffy clouds overhead, with leafy plants and rocks along the front edge. Small hands can handle the big scale patterns easily. Try deep teal on the left monster, soft purple on the right, bright blue for the waterfall and warm orange for the volcano smoke. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big orange dinosaur on the right: fill its body, flank, and legs with coral orange, leaving the cream claws and toes for later.
- 2Color the golden yellow spikes along its head and back, and fill its scales with golden yellow.
- 3Fill the green dinosaur on the left with forest green on its legs, tail, and back, and use light yellow on its belly and lower leg.
- 4Add the charcoal gray volcano and light gray smoke at the top, then color the pale blue sky clouds and the sky blue water and plants.
- 5Fill the dirt path and ground with sandy brown, add stone gray rocks, and color the light green bushes and plants.
- 6Optional: Leave the waterfall foam, sky, and the white scales on the green dinosaur uncolored so they stay bright white.
