Two Kids Digging Up Pirate Treasure on the Beach
Coloring guide
Two smiling kids dressed as pirates kneel in the sand, each with a shovel, digging up a buried treasure chest. The boy has a big tricorn hat with a skull and crossbones, a striped shirt, a vest and a belt with a buckle. The girl wears a bandana with a skull on it, a belted tunic and boots. Nearby there's a sand pail on the left, a little crab waving its claws in the bottom corner, a palm tree with coconuts on the right, small clouds overhead and gentle waves out at sea. The chest has studs, straps and a lock, so small hands have lots of details to fill in. Golden yellow and warm brown on the chest will help the treasure stand out against soft sandy tones. No sign-up is needed, just print it at home. More like this: explore the Pirate, Mermaid and Ghost coloring page collections.

- 1Start with the big background areas: fill the sea with sky blue and the sea on the right with the same sky blue, leaving the sky and the cloud white.
- 2Color the palm tree leaves with leaf green and the trunk with brown, then fill the coconuts with golden yellow.
- 3Fill the sand mounds and the treasure chest with sandy yellow and brown, and color the bucket with bright blue, leaving its water area sky blue.
- 4Color the skin areas peach, the boy's vest and hat in navy blue, the girl's bandana and the boy's bandana in red, and the shirts in cream.
- 5Add the crab in orange, the girl's vest in dark gray, and the pants in red and purple; leave the skull white.
- 6Optional: Add a darker shade of brown along the chest edges and sand shadows for extra depth.
