Two Kids Holding Fall Leaves in the Grass

Coloring guide
Two cartoon children stand facing each other outdoors, and the whole page is turned on its side, so you may want to rotate it before coloring. One child wears a knit hat with two hair bows and holds up a big lobed leaf on a stem. She has a buttoned coat with a front pocket and tall boots. The other child wears a cap with a strap and holds a bundle of leaves against the chest, with overalls and chunky shoes. Grass tufts, a few falling leaves, a fence or path line and puffy cloud shapes fill the background. Try warm reds, oranges and yellows for the leaves, then ask kids to color each leaf a different shade, as real fall leaves differ. The large shapes work well for crayons, and the free printable page is easy to hand out at home or in class.
