Two Kids Walking the Woods on an Easter Egg Hunt
Coloring guide
A boy and girl stroll through a grassy woodland spot, smiling, each with a woven basket. The girl points at a decorated egg peeking out from behind a large tree trunk. He's wearing a hooded sweatshirt, pants and sneakers, and she has a bow headband, a collared dress and buckle shoes. You'll spot bushes, grass tufts and a few simple flowers in the bottom corners, plus zigzag patterns on the hidden egg. Wide shapes and clear outlines make this friendly for preschoolers and early elementary kids, and it's a free print for a spring classroom or a rainy day. Bright purple and yellow stripes on the egg will stand out against green grass and brown bark, and pastel shades work well on the clothes and baskets. - 2Color all the skin areas, including the faces, hands, arms and legs, with peach skin, leaving the eye whites and the boy's neck white.
- 3Fill the boy's hoodie with sky blue, his pants and lower legs with tan, and his hair with warm brown, then color his shoes light gray.
- 4Color the girl's dress and hem with rose pink, her hair and the back of her head with butter yellow, and the headband and hair bow with bright red.
- 5Fill the baskets with warm brown weave, add a golden yellow egg in the boy's basket, and color the egg in the tree with lilac and bubblegum pink stripes.
- 6Optional: Add a little shading with a darker shade of each color along the folds of the hoodie and dress to give the figures more depth.
