Young Firefighters and Their Ladder Truck in the City

Two smiling firefighters stand next to each other in front of a big ladder truck, hands on hips, helmets on. The one on the left has short hair and the one on the right has a ponytail. Both wear checkered turnout jackets, bulky pants, boots and backpack straps. Behind them the truck shows off a long extended ladder with a bucket platform on top, plus a roof light bar, side mirrors, a big windshield, a front bumper and a large wheel. A tall city building with square windows rises behind, and a leafless tree stands at the left edge. The thick outlines and roomy shapes suit preschoolers and early elementary kids. Red for the truck and yellow for the helmets is a natural start, with silver or orange for the reflective strips on the jackets. It's a free printable that fits community helper lessons or a quiet afternoon at home. Looking for more? Our Flowers and Forest coloring pages pair nicely with this City page.
