Heart Carriage Ride with a Unicorn to the Castle
Coloring guide
Down a winding stone path trots a young unicorn with a flowing wavy mane, pulling an ornate royal carriage covered in hearts. It wears a flower crown, a heart-studded harness and cuffs on its hooves, and a spiral horn rises from its forehead. The carriage has a crown on top, curtained windows, a tufted seat and big spoked wheels. In the distance, a stone bridge crosses a stream, and a tall castle sits on a hill between mountains and pine trees. Stars, hearts and puffy clouds fill the sky, with flowers and bushes growing up front. Soft lavender and pink suit the mane, gold works for the carriage crown and wheels, and bright greens fit the meadow. Print this free page for a screen-free activity at home. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the mountains, the far hills and the river with cornflower blue and aqua blue, leaving the sky and clouds white.
- 2Fill the trees, bushes and grass with bright green, lime green, forest green and sea green, mixing a few shades for depth.
- 3Paint the carriage wheel rims and the trim around the carriage with golden yellow, and color the cobblestone path with pale sand and light tan.
- 4Add light pink and hot pink to the carriage curtains, the heart panels, the harness ribbon and the hooves, and use lavender purple and orchid purple for the cushion and the mane streaks.
- 5Keep the unicorn body, muzzle, horn and eye whites white, and finish with light gray on a rock near the path.
- 6Optional: Add a little shading with a darker shade of each color along one side of the trees and carriage to make them pop.
