Utah State Flag With Eagle and Beehive Seal

Utah State Flag With Eagle and Beehive Seal coloring page

Coloring guide

A rectangular flag outline holds a large circular seal in the center. Inside the circle, an eagle with spread wings sits at the top, gripping a bundle of arrows in its talons. Below it is a shield with the word INDUSTRY across the top, a domed beehive in the middle, and flowers on both sides. The words UTAH and 1847 appear at the bottom of the shield. Two crossed flags with rows of small stars stand behind the shield, and the year 1896 is printed under it near the bottom of the circle. This would be a nice page for a state studies lesson. Kids can look up the real Utah flag and match the colors, then pick their own shades for the feathers, the beehive, and the flowers. The star rows are also good for practicing small, careful coloring.
