Vampire Bunny and a Pile of Halloween Candy

Sitting upright in a vampire cape is a smiling, floppy-eared bunny with tiny fangs showing in its happy grin. The cape has a pointed collar and a round brooch at the neck. Its front paws rest in front of its belly, and one big back foot with toe pads sticks out to the side. In front sits a heaping pile of Halloween treats, including frosted cupcakes with sprinkles, swirly lollipops, wrapped candies and candy corn. On the right, a tipped-over jack-o'-lantern pail with a carved face has spilled its candy onto the pile. Clear outlines and large shapes suit younger kids, and all that candy gives older kids lots of small spots to fill in. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start by filling the bunny head, long ears, body and paws with caramel brown, leaving the small eye shines white.
- 2Color the inside of the long ears and the bunny nose with bubblegum pink, and fill the mouth with light gray.
- 3Color the vampire cape and its collar with bright red, then add the round gem at the neck in sky blue.
- 4Fill the big jack-o-lantern with orange, its stem with grass green, and the dark inside opening with dark brown.
- 5Color the cream base behind the bunny and the chest fur with cream, then fill the candies and cupcakes with sky blue, lavender purple, lemon yellow, mint green and aqua blue, leaving the tiny shine spots white.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker caramel brown or dark red along the edges of the cape and bunny to give the page some depth.
