Watermelon Slice With Seeds Outline Drawing

Watermelon Slice With Seeds Outline Drawing coloring page

Coloring guide

A single wedge of watermelon lies on its side, drawn in thick black outline with a curved rind along the bottom and a flat top edge. The cut face shows nine small teardrop-shaped seeds scattered across the middle, and a thin inner line traces the rind just inside the outer edge. Both ends of the slice have a little flat strip, which gives it a slightly three-dimensional look. The shapes are big and the lines are bold, so even young kids can stay inside them with crayons or chunky markers. Try red or pink for the flesh, green for the rind, and black or brown for the seeds. It is also a good chance to count the seeds together and talk about where watermelons grow. This free printable page works well for summer picnic themes.
