Astronaut Waving Among Heart Planets
Coloring guide
Out of the round porthole of a big rocket, a smiling child astronaut waves hello, wearing a helmet with headphones and a suit with a little chest panel. The rocket has a pointed nose, two curved side fins, a band of round portholes across the middle and a jagged flame trailing from the bottom. All around it, the night sky is full of heart-shaped planets. Two have wavy stripes, one has crater circles, and a ringed heart planet sits at the lower right. There's also a crescent moon, a handful of five-point stars and small dots scattered about. Large shapes and bold lines are good for little hands holding crayons. Red and orange suit the flame, while soft purple or pink lets the heart planets pop against a deep blue sky. A free printable that's easy to grab for a quiet afternoon. - 2Fill the flames at the bottom with orange in the middle, yellow in the center, and red on the outer edges.
- 3Color the astronaut's face peach, the hair brown, and the backpack and earpiece light gray, leaving the spacesuit and waving hand white.
- 4Add sky blue and light blue to the window ring and the base band, then deep blue to the rocket base ring.
- 5Color the heart planets with lilac and lavender purple, turquoise, pink, light pink, and sky blue stripes, and the planet rings and stars in yellow.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker shading along the edges of the fins and planets to make them pop, and leave small white highlights on the window and the moon.
