Waving Hello to a Smiling Excavator, Blippi Coloring Page
Coloring guide
On the left, a cheerful boy in a hard hat and a striped shirt with suspenders waves up at a big, friendly excavator that has a smiling face on its cab. The long arm is lifted high so the bucket, with its chunky teeth, hangs over the boy's head, and the tracks run along the bottom right of the page. Behind him are a small striped construction barrier plus a few rocks and dirt mounds on the ground. Preschoolers will like the large shapes, and older kids can take their time on the bucket teeth and track treads. Yellow suits the excavator and bucket, while a red hard hat and blue overalls help the boy stand out from the machine. Print it or download it for a screen-free activity at home. Looking for more? A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big excavator bucket, its teeth, and the gray arm pieces in light gray, leaving the small pin spots as they are.
- 2Fill the main boom arm, the cab front, the hard hat, and the upper arm with bright yellow, keeping the windows and eye whites free.
- 3Color the tracks, the cab roof, and the dark arm stick in charcoal gray, and add the wheel hubs in bright yellow.
- 4Use sky blue for the front windshield and the side window, and leave the eye whites and small highlights white.
- 5Color the boy's overalls denim blue, his striped shirt bright red, his face and hands peach skin, and the dirt mounds tan brown.
- 6Optional: add a little darker shading on the tracks and bucket to give the machine more depth.
