Standing upright on two feet, this cheerful cartoon turtle waves one hand while the other rests at its side. A little water fountain sprays from a spout on top of its head and ends in a splash of droplets. Big round eyes and an open smile give it a friendly look. The belly has wide horizontal stripes, the shell behind it is divided into neat sections, and a small fish-style tail fin sticks out at the back. It stands in a shallow puddle with a flower on each side, each one with leaves and a round center. Thick, clear outlines and large open areas work well for preschoolers and early elementary kids. - 1Color the turtle's head, both arms, and both legs in lime green, keeping the eye whites and the small white gap beside the waving arm white.
- 2Fill the shell plates with chocolate brown and amber brown, then color the shell rim along the edge in forest green.
- 3Paint the belly bands in soft yellow and the feet and tail fin in leaf green.
- 4Color the water spout, its drops and the puddle in sky blue and light blue, leaving the background white.
- 5Fill the two flowers' petals with soft pink, add golden yellow centers, and color the leaves in leaf green.
- 6Optional: Add the tongue in coral red and a little darker shading on the shell to make the turtle pop.
