Web Watcher Spider Glancing Off to the Side

A friendly cartoon spider sits in the middle of a large web, seen from above with its round body on the left and its head turned toward the right. It has two big, wide eyes with small pupils that seem to look off to the side, plus a tiny nose-like bump on its face. Eight long, thin legs stretch out across the web, some bending at the joints and some ending in sharp points. The web fills the whole page, with thick lines running out from the center and curved threads connecting them in rings. The open spaces are large, so little hands can color them easily. Try filling each web section with a different pale color, then give the spider a bold body so it stands out. You can also count the legs together and talk about why spiders have eight. This free printable works well for a quiet afternoon or a science lesson on insects and arachnids.
