Wheelchair Racer Holding Up a Trophy

A happy athlete in a racing wheelchair lifts a big trophy cup high in one raised arm. The person is leaning back with closed eyes and a wide open smile, wearing a short-sleeved shirt, long pants, and sneakers. A bib with the number 42 hangs over the shirt. The wheelchair shows two large spoked rear wheels, a small front caster wheel, and a footrest where both feet rest. The trophy has two curved handles and a solid black base, so it is easy to spot. This page works well for a lesson on sportsmanship or the Paralympic Games. Kids can pick gold, silver, or bronze for the trophy, then choose team colors for the shirt and bib. The number 42 is also a fun chance to talk about race numbers and why athletes wear them. It is free to print and use at home or in class.
