White-Tailed Buck Walking Past Rolling Hills

Coloring guide
A buck with tall, branching antlers walks to the left across an open field, his head turned slightly and his ears pointing outward. You can see a small eye, a darker nose, and a patch of fur on his throat that is outlined separately. His slim legs have little marks near the knees and hooves, and his body is a big open area that is easy to color. Behind him, long curving lines make layered hills, with a few small clouds and shrubby ridges near the edges. Try shading the body in two or three browns, then keep the throat patch and the inside of the ears lighter. This free page also works well for a quick nature lesson about how male deer grow antlers, and how the hills in the background can be colored in cool, faded tones to make the buck stand out.
