Flying Winged Unicorn Above Snowy Mountains
Coloring guide
Kids who love fantasy animals will like this one. A smiling winged unicorn leaps through the sky with big feathered wings spread wide. It has large sparkly eyes, a spiral horn, and a long wavy mane and tail trailing behind. The front legs are tucked up and the back legs stretch out, so it really looks like it's flying. Puffy clouds fill the sky and a few little birds flutter nearby. Down below are snowy mountain peaks and a row of pine trees. The layered wing feathers are a fun part to color. Soft purples and pinks would look good on the wings, with a rainbow of colors in the mane and tail. You can print or download this free page without signing up. Looking for more? A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the fluffy clouds and the top sky patches with light sky blue, leaving the birds as simple lines.
- 2Fill the big and right mountains with periwinkle blue, then color the grassy hills and bushes grass green and the pine trees forest green.
- 3Color the outer wing feathers with sky blue, the middle feathers with peach orange, and the lower feathers with lavender purple, keeping the large front wing white.
- 4Color the flowing mane and tail with bands of lemon yellow, coral pink, orchid pink, sky blue and lavender purple, and paint the horn lemon yellow.
- 5Color the ears and hooves coral pink, keep the unicorn body, eyes, and mountain snowcaps white, and use the pale highlights on the horn and mane as white accents.
- 6Optional: add a little soft violet shading along the lower edges of the mountains and under the wings for extra depth.
