Wolf Standing and Looking Back Over Shoulder

Coloring guide
A single wolf stands on a small patch of ground with its body turned to the side and its head looking back over its shoulder. The drawing is done in loose pen strokes, so the thick fur shows up clearly on the chest, neck, back and tail. The ears are pointed and upright, the eyes are narrow, and the dark nose stands out near the front of the snout. All four legs and paws are visible, with the claws drawn at the toes. A few scribbled lines under the feet suggest rocky or snowy ground, and there is no other background. Try using several shades of gray, brown and tan with light, short strokes that follow the direction of the fur. This also works well for a quick lesson on how wolves use their thick coats. The printable page has plenty of open space for blending.
