Good Friday Cross Coloring Page with Sunrise Rays and Flowers

Standing in the middle of this free printable coloring page is a big wooden cross, with wood-grain lines and knots drawn along the upright post and the crossbeam. A round sun comes up behind it over a small grassy hill, and thick rectangular rays spread out around the top of the cross. Three simple flowers with round centers and rounded petals grow by the base, and leaves, stems and tufts of grass dot the hill. Bold outlines and large open spaces keep it easy for younger kids, and it fits nicely into a Good Friday or Easter lesson. You could do the cross in warm browns with darker streaks for the grain, the sun in soft yellow and orange, and the flowers in pink, purple and blue over green grass.
