Young Lion Cub Looking Back Over Shoulder

A young lion cub walks across the page with its head turned back, glancing over its shoulder with big round eyes and a curious look. The cub has large rounded ears with inner ear details, a small nose and muzzle, and a little tuft of fur under the chin. One front paw is stepping forward while the back legs trail behind, and the toes are clearly outlined on each paw. The tail curves up behind the body and ends in a small tuft of fur. The lines are bold and the spaces are big and open, so it works well for younger kids using crayons or markers. Try tawny gold and soft cream for the body, then a darker brown for the tail tuft and ear insides. This free printable also makes a nice starting point for talking about lion cubs and how they grow.
