Young Simba Batting at a Flying Beetle

A young lion cub stands upright on his hind legs in a grassy spot, swiping one paw at a beetle flying overhead. His mouth is open in a happy grin, and his eyes are fixed on the bug. The beetle has spread wings, dangling legs, and a curved horn on its head, with little motion lines around it. More motion lines trail behind the cub's swinging paw. His tail curls up behind him with a tuft at the end, and a few grass blades are drawn near his feet. The lines are bold and the shapes are big, so this free printable suits younger kids with chunky crayons. Try tan or golden yellow for the cub, a darker brown for the tail tuft, and a shiny green or blue for the beetle so it stands out from the grass.
