A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the boy's hair and the bench-slat areas first: use chocolate brown for the boy's hair and caramel brown for the whole bench, leaving the small round bolts white.
- 2Fill the boy's hoodie and pants in sky blue and the girl's pants in lavender purple, then add navy blue to the boy's shoes and medium gray to the girl's shoe.
- 3Use pink for the girl's sweater, headband and sleeve cuffs, and peach skin for both faces, hands, necks and ears, leaving the eye whites and the shoe soles white.
- 4Color the girl's hair in caramel brown and the slide in red, golden yellow and bright orange, then fill the trees and bushes in grass green and lime green.
- 5Finish the swing frame in sky blue and the grass tufts in grass green, keeping the swing seat, chain and sky white. Optional: add a little darker shading under the characters and along the bench for depth.
