A lone wolf stands on a flat rock with its front paws close together, head turned to look toward the viewer. Its ears point up and its fur is shown with lots of short, scratchy lines across the chest, shoulders, and hindquarters. The tail hangs down behind it. Rounded bushes fill the lower left corner, a few tufts of grass poke up near the rock, and big puffy cloud shapes fill the sky behind the animal. The large open areas of the body are easy to color, while the fur lines give older kids room for detail. Try layering grays, tans, and soft browns with colored pencils, following the direction of the fur strokes.
