Glaring Tiki Mask With Clenched Teeth and Hibiscus

Coloring guide
A carved tiki mask glares out from the center of this page with heavy slanted brows, narrowed eyes, and a mouth full of clenched square teeth. The forehead rises into a tall, plank-style crest, and rows of flat wooden slats stick out from both sides of the face like hair. A long, wood-grain chin piece hangs down below the mouth. At the bottom, the mask sits on a cluster of big pointed leaves, with two groups of hibiscus flowers tucked in on the left and right. Try browns, tans, and reddish tones on the carved wood, then save bright pinks, yellows, or reds for the hibiscus blooms. The small grain lines on the forehead and chin are fun for practicing light shading with a colored pencil. This page is free to print and works well for a luau party or a unit on Hawaiian and Pacific island culture.
