Animal Crossing Lion Waving Hello With a Swirly Mane
Coloring guide
Here's a friendly lion standing upright with one arm raised in a wave. He has a big open-mouth grin with two little fangs, wide round eyes, a large oval nose, and curly swirl markings on his forehead and cheeks. A jagged, spiky mane frames his round face, and two round ears stick out on top. His short-sleeved shirt has two swirl designs, and a small tuft-tipped tail peeks out behind him. The page has no background, which keeps the focus on him. Golden yellow and orange look great on the mane, with deeper brown for the swirls and a bright shirt color. You can download it as a free PDF, and it works for kids and coloring fans of any age. This page is part of our Animal Crossing coloring pages collection — check out Sonic the Hedgehog and Cuphead too.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the lion's face, both ears, the raised paw, the lowered paw, the lower body and legs with golden yellow, leaving the eye whites white.
- 2Fill the mane, the tail, the eyebrows and the bottoms of the feet with chocolate brown.
- 3Color the sweater, both arms and the shoulder with forest green, keeping the golden swirls on the chest unpainted for now.
- 4Color the swirls on the chest golden yellow, and the inner parts of the swirls green to match the sweater.
- 5Add the open mouth in coral pink, the mouth corners and fang shadows in dark red, and the muzzle and chin fluff in cream.
- 6Optional: Add the inner ears in rose pink and a few light strokes of darker yellow on the face for shading.
