Baby Chick Waving Hello with One Wing

A round, fluffy baby chick stands on two thin legs with its body turned slightly to the side. It has big eyes with little lashes, curved eyebrows, and a small open beak. A tuft of feathers sticks up on top of its head, and one wing is raised like it is waving hello. The other wing tucks in at its side, and a little tail pokes out on the left. Each foot has three long toes spread wide. The large open areas on the body are easy for small hands to fill in. Try soft yellow for the body, orange for the beak and feet, then add short crayon strokes along the edges to make the fluffy feathers look real. This free printable also works well for a spring or Easter activity at home or in class.
