Baby Elephant Making a Rainbow with Its Trunk

A smiling baby elephant stands in the grass with its trunk raised high, spraying water that curves into a striped rainbow. Droplets and splashes fly off the tip of the trunk, and a few more drops fall from the far end of the arch. A big tree with falling leaves stands on the right behind the elephant. Two butterflies flutter on either side, and small flowers and grass tufts fill the meadow at its feet. The elephant has big round eyes, an open happy mouth, floppy ears and a little tufted tail. Thick, clear lines and large areas make it easy for preschoolers and early elementary kids. Soft sky blue on the elephant lets the red, orange, yellow, green and purple bands stand out. A free printable for a rainy day or a classroom animal unit. Kids who like Rainbow coloring pages usually enjoy City and Solar System & Space too.
