Baby Polar Bear Watching Snowflakes Fall

Coloring guide
A sweet polar bear cub sits upright in the snow with its big paws stretched out in front, and you can see the round toe pads on its soles. Its head tips back, and its sparkly eyes and open, smiling mouth make it look like it's watching the snow come down. Three large snowflakes with different branching designs float above and beside the cub, with small round snowflake dots scattered over the page. Gentle snowy hills and a couple of little snow mounds sit behind it. Thick outlines and roomy shapes make this free printable easy for young children. Pale blue and lilac work nicely on the snowflakes, with soft gray shading on the fluffy fur. Bright pink on the tongue and paw pads makes a lovely winter contrast. This fits right in with our Snowflakes coloring pages — see also Christmas Lights and Santa Claus.

- 2Fill both hills in the background with pale blue to suggest the snowy landscape.
- 3Color the whole bear body, ears, arms and legs with cream, keeping the eyes white.
- 4Fill the big paw pads and the toe beans with warm brown, and color the toe pads cream.
- 5Add soft pink to the tongue inside the open mouth.
- 6Optional: Add a few light strokes of pale blue or sky blue on the bear's shadow side for depth.
